M is a point on side AB of a triangle ABC such that AM = BM = CM. If angles A and B are respectively x and 70°, then the value of (3x + 25°) is equal to :किसी त्रिभुज ABC की भुजा AB पर M एक बिंदु इस प्रकार स्थित है कि AM=BM=CM है।

  1. A70°70°
  2. B85°85°
  3. C100°100°
  4. D115°115°

Correct answer: (B) 85°85°

Explanation

AM = BM = CM means M is the circumcentre on AB, so ∠C = 90° (angle in a semicircle). Then x = 180° − 90° − 70° = 20°, and 3x + 25° = 85°.AM = BM = CM का अर्थ है कि M, AB पर परिकेंद्र है, इसलिए ∠C = 90° (अर्धवृत्त में कोण)। तब x = 180° − 90° − 70° = 20° और 3x + 25° = 85°।
