Reason (R): According to Kohlberg, children's moral development occurs in continuous manner and not a discontinuous one. Choose the correct option.

  2. BBoth A and R are true but R is not the correct explanation of A.A और R दोनों सही हैं लेकिन A की R सही व्याख्या नहीं करता है।
  3. CA is true but R is false.
  4. DBoth A and R are false.

Correct answer: (C) A is true but R is false.

Explanation

A is true: children move from judging acts by their consequences (pre-conventional) to seeing laws as social contracts that can be changed (post-conventional). R is false because Kohlberg described moral development in distinct stages, i.e. as discontinuous.
