We know very less about tribal groups in the medieval period because:मध्यकाल में जनजातीय समूहों के बारे में हमें बहुत कम जानकारी है क्योंकि :

1. Athey did not keep written records so there is less information.वे लिखित दस्तावेज़ नहीं रखते थे इसलिए उनके बारे में कम जानकारी उपलब्ध है ।
2. Bthey were not living in areas where medieval rulers ventured.वे उन इलाकों में नहीं रहते थे जहाँ मध्यकालीन शासक गए ।
3. Cthey came into limelight only after the British established their rule.ब्रिटिश शासन के स्थापित होने के बाद ही वे लोगों की नज़र में आ पाए ।
4. Dthey were isolated and lived in seclusion.वे अलगाव में थे और एकांत में रहते थे ।
