If x, y and z are respectively the number of faces, vertices and edges of a triangular pyramid, then :यदि x, y और z क्रमशः एक त्रिभुज के आधार वाले पिरामिड के फलकों, शीर्षों और किनारों की संख्याएँ हैं, तो :

  1. A2x + 2z − 3y = 62x+2z−3y=6
  2. B3x + 3y − 2z = 63x+3y−2z=6
  3. C2x + 3y − 2z = 82x+3y−2z=8
  4. D3x + 2y − 3z = 43x+2y−3z=4

Correct answer: (C) 2x + 3y − 2z = 82x+3y−2z=8

Explanation

A triangular pyramid has x = 4 faces, y = 4 vertices, z = 6 edges. 2x + 3y − 2z = 8 + 12 − 12 = 8, which is true; the other relations fail.
