Question 44Asked in CTET December 2024 Paper 2 Maths & Science, 15 Dec 2024

In a quadrilateral ABCD, angles A, B, C and D are respectively (3x − 10)°, (x + 30)°, (2x + 30)° and (2x − 10)°. Then, this quadrilateral is aकिसी चतुर्भुज ABCD के कोण A, B, C और D क्रमशः (3x − 10)°, (x + 30)°, (2x + 30)° और (2x − 10)° हैं।

  2. Bparallelogramसमांतर चतुर्भुज
  3. Ckite
  4. Drectangleआयत
Show answerHide answer

Correct answer: (B) parallelogram

Explanation

Note: the official key accepts both (1) and (2). The angles add to 8x + 40 = 360, so x = 40 and A = 110°, B = 70°, C = 110°, D = 70°. Both pairs of opposite angles are equal, so ABCD is a parallelogram; since adjacent angles add to 180°, it also has parallel sides and can be called a trapezium.
